Our story
We come from the work itself.
We began as Step-Ahead Renovations & Designs Ltd — bathroom fitters in London. We turned up, did the work, and earned a reputation the hard way: by being good at it. Over the years we grew from fitting bathrooms into full renovations, and made some very big improvements to how the business runs along the way.
Growth exposed the cracks. Leads arrived across spreadsheets, email and WhatsApp and were easy to lose. Quotes took too long. Scheduling lived in someone's head. Chasing payment ate the evenings. The trade was thriving; the systems around it were holding it back.
So we built our own. A platform that captures every lead, generates quotes, schedules jobs around real capacity, takes payment, and keeps clients in the loop — even a 3D designer so customers can see a bathroom before it's built. The business changed. Quotes turned into paid work faster, less slipped through the cracks, and the admin stopped owning our evenings.
Then other business owners started asking who built it. That's STEP-AHEAD Works. We come from the work itself — we've run a real operation, felt the same pressures, and fixed them. We understand business needs because they were ours first. Now we build the software, run the marketing, and stand beside other founders as they grow.
